Job Description

The role will work in our Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) team.  Cushman & Wakefield deliver a broad range of real estate services to our clients across government, banking, finance & insurance, health and mining sectors to name a few.  The properties we manage includes large office buildings, retail shops, industrial warehouses, schools, hospitals, houses and even parkland.

The service we deliver include:

Financial management, reporting, budgeting, invoice processing and payment

Client relationship management and governance of our service contract

Lease and property management and the negotiation of leases

Facilities management - maintaining building systems and general day to day services used by building occupants and the legal compliance of the portfolio

Procuring contracts for building services such as lifts, air conditioning, plumbing, electrical, cleaners and many more

Health, Safety, and incident management

Environment and sustainability.  Developing, implementing, and reporting on environmental programs of work

The Trainee Coordinator will undertake two (2) rotations across the various contract service lines, and both learn and support the management of the contract.  The role will have interactions with Cushman and Wakefield team members, our client and external service providers, relevant to the area of rotation.

About the Role:

Data/information collection, validation, management, and upload to C&W’s reporting platforms

Report writing and communication as required

Assist the team in administrative activities as required

Participate as required in meetings, forums and working groups

Represent the values of Cushman & Wakefield to our internal and external customers

Develop an understanding of the offerings of Cushman & Wakefield

Tasks completed within agreed time in a consistent quality of work output

Attend our office in Sydney three (3) days per week

Adhere to all Cushman & Wakefield company policies and procedures

Performs other duties as requested by your direct manager

Identify and suggest ideas for improvement to how the service is being delivered

Specific tasks for rotations with each workstream

About you:

A keen interest in the built environment and the services within this property industry.  These include facilities management, lease and property management, finance, procurement, health & safety, projects and sustainability

Ideally you have some previous experience working in the property industry (e.g. work experience, paid/unpaid part time role)

Volunteering experience or similar space desirable

Intent to commence a tertiary qualification that is applicable to the services provided by Cushman & Wakefield

Competent with MS Office (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
