We currently have an opening for a Trainer to join our amazing team where you'll be on the front lines contributing to awesome member experiences supporting our Cold Storage team! That same experience applies to co-workers, the community, and our vendors.
ScheduleSunday - Wednesday: 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM. (overtime as needed)RESPONSIBILITIES Train individuals in receiving, picking, packing, quality control, slotting, loading, and replenishment functionsResponsible for Evaluating & Auditing employees in training and communicate any issues identifiedTraining and development of warehouse staff by teaching and enforcing SOP'sEquipment training and Certification safety and operationAbility to work various shifts based on staffing or FC business needsGood critical thinking skills with the ability to see the “big picture”Identify training needs and communicate them to operationsDocument the training by completing all required paperworkAct professionally and remain focused while workingFollow and promote all safety rules, maintain a safe warehouseProvide company tour to new employeesPerform other duties as assignedPerform cleaning activities as requiredPerforms other duties assigned by Supervisor to enhance fulfillment operationMust be willing to work in a cold / freezer work environmentMust be comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment ranging from -20 degrees to 40 degrees Fahrenheit and outside ambient temperatures (including heat and cold)QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma or equivalent (GED)Prior logistics, fulfillment and/or industry experience (preferred)3+ recent years of experience operating equipment such as, Forklift, Reach Truck, and Electric Pallet Jack2 years of experience training in a team-oriented workplace (preferred)Good interpersonal relationship building, employee coaching and development skillsHonest with the highest integrity, dedicated to quality and high standardsSupportive of values following policies and procedures, who has good critical thinking skills and the ability to see the "big picture"Positive, ambitious, energetic and hardworking with a strong work ethic, who is well organized and has an eye for detailA team player valuing co-worker's opinions treating everyone with courtesy and respectMust be able to communicate effectively and take directionFlexible schedule, with the ability to work various shifts and ability to work overtime based on staffing or FC business needsAbility to physically count and move products on shelves, racks, and palletsAbility to read and interpret documents such as inventory reports and operating procedures to ensure inventory is audited and accurateAbility to coach and develop team members to achieve company goals and operate in a fast-paced environmentAbility to stand and walk for extended periods of time, frequently reaching with hands and arms, twisting, bending, stooping, squatting, lifting and carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs.BELONG TO A BETTER COMPANYComprehensive health benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, and disability)Competitive pay + equityMultiple work schedules availableOpportunities for advancement.
