May provide other training to location personnel * Tracks attendees and maintains training documentation based on regulations and company policy. * While the focus is on driver training, employee may also have other safety program responsibilities (e.g. accident investigations, forms compliance and safety meetings) * Other duties as assigned Minimum Education & Certification Requirements: * High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum Experience and Skills Required: * 1-3 years training experience * 1-3 years transportation, safety, or related experience * Knowledge of federal and state rules and regulations regarding safety and environmental issues * Computer literate with knowledge of Word, Excel and Powerpoint * Ability of effectively prioritize tasks and manage time effectively * Good verbal, written and relational communication skills, with ability to appropriately interact with employees of all levels including drivers, customers, senior management, client representatives, union officials, and general public * Fluent in English * Demonstrates consistent attendance and punctuality * Possesses working vehicle to travel within service areas as needed * CDL CLASS A or B required, including Passenger Endorsement and Airbrakes Physical Requirements & Working Conditions: * Incumbent must be able to move about the office and in the surrounding company facility outside the office (e,g, bus parking lot); utilize company office equipment; access company filing system/cabinets; and communicate effectively and efficiently in-person and by telephone * Must be able to drive company vehicle or personal vehicle to deliver training in multiple locations Disclaimer: Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
