This position will report to the Surface Training Coordinator.

 

What you will do: 

Develop, design, and deliver training programs  Evaluate departmental training programs, gathering data pertaining to training material and offering recommendations  Coordinate training with departments  Monitor employee performance and training results  Maintain appropriate training records for all employees 

 

What you will bring: 

Superior interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills  Experience in the operation of mobile equipment  Ability to present existing and new training materials to employees in both a classroom and on-the-job setting  Superior computer skills are required, including the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint  Ability to demonstrate positive safety behaviors and safety leadership through working safely and effectively in a team setting as well as independently  Willingness to learn and gain adequate knowledge and experience through training  Grade 12 diploma or equivalent, with a technical or operating background  Knowledge of mill operations and maintenance techniques Knowledge of OH&S regulations as well as mine regulations  Previous experience in a supervisory role would be considered an asset  Experience using LMS would be considered an asset
