Job Profile Summary:
The Trainer is a strong and motivated individual who develops and delivers competent and engaging training across all teams within the department. This position ensures that the team’s training needs are met using various tools, including live/synchronous training, web-based resources, multimedia technologies, instructional software, and more. They are responsible for providing data-driven results to management, working closely to calibrate and collaborate on diverse training needs, and ensuring all policies, procedures, and changes are communicated promptly and well-constructed. The Trainer creates and manages various projects, processes, and initiatives based on best practices. The Trainer has subject-matter expertise within their functional area, along with appropriate education, experience, and skills. They must be self-directed and innovative training architects who develop training materials, activities, information retention strategies, and evaluations supporting effective adult learning.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Maintains high subject matter expertise by receiving end-user omnichannel interactions and documenting all pertinent information.Collaborates on the development and accuracy of the department knowledge base by keeping detailed records of departmental policies and procedures, trends, exceptions, and FAQ information to ensure consistency.Delivers departmental training to new hires and existing staff. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent related experience. 1 or more years of training and/or leadership experience, or demonstrated ability to deliver training, coaching, and mentorship.Experience with systems such as Banner, Salesforce, and Service Now.Knowledge of and experience with applying distance learning and adult learning principles.Experience in course and curriculum development.Preferred Qualifications:
