Description:Instruct, assign, check work and work with student employees involved in classroom and OJT Training.
-Instruct employees in proper work methods, use of equipment, safety rules, and quality standards.
-Conduct training sessions, product demonstrations provide OJT to hourly employees.
-Assist in developing criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities.
-Facilitate the training for all sub and final assembly operations.
-Check work methods and results for conformance to standards and re-instruct as required.
-Assists, develops, and implements technical product training programs for field site employees as well as in house.
-Assist in creating or obtaining information needed to prepare training programs, prepares training materials, designs product demonstrations, develops course contact, determines methodology, and coordinates the development of training aids.
-May utilize trainers with technical expertise
-Assists in revising lesson plans to meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to date.
-Report to supervisor on work progress, including conditions surrounding failures to meet quantity and quality standards.
-Follow and rules and regulations pertaining to environmental health and safety.
-Segregate waste material and follow good housekeeping practices.
Basic Qualifications:
*Requires in-depth knowledge of operation and structure of helicopters, engines, accessories and electrical and hydraulic systems.
*Ability to read and interpret detailed blueprints and specifications and use a wide variety of precision measuring instruments and gages.
*Knowledge of inspection practices. Familiar
with sheet metal fabrication.
*Equivalent to two years high school plus two to three years trades training and A&P license.
*Experience 1-3 years.
*Continuous mental and visual attention required to provide training and skill demonstrations for the installation, assembly and/or fabrication of helicopter accessories and assemblies. Check work of employees for consistency, correctness and quality.

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Standard Monday to Friday 40 hour work week
