Training, Design & Development SpecialistBelong, Connect, and Grow with KBR!
KBR is seeking a Specialist, Training Design and Development for support of the Naval Aviation Systems Command (NAVAIR), Aviation Product Lifecycle Management (AvPLM) program. The successful candidate should be familiar with task analysis techniques and have experience gathering requirements related to the development and delivery of both Computer Based Training (CBT) as well as instructor-led training (ILT). A background in identifying specific training needs based on project processes, changes, and other factors is essential.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Define and document learning objectives.Conduct research and collaborate with subject experts to include software developers to ensure content is accurate and relevant to the training topics.Create instructional material: courses, curriculum, student guides or training manuals.Design content to optimize learning.Create visual, audio and interactive learning tools.Formulate training plans and schedules based on identified needsCapture requirements related to CBT or ILT and translate those into a cohesive script for developmentWork with a team to modify or redesign existing training products as requirements dictate to fulfill the learner’s needsBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience: BA/BS degree and 2 years experience in related tasks.
Clearance & Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience supporting the DoD community.
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week
Compensation: $69,540-$87,000. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
