Essential duties include the following:
Evaluates and assesses individual and team performance and provides appropriate feedback; manages and coaches the team to improve skills and overall performance ensuring strategic alignment with business goals.Works with all levels of management to identify the skills, abilities, core competencies, and talent needs for their business; and analyzes each project to determine the appropriate delivery method; effectively and professionally communicates strategy, design, scope, and development time for each assignment; and assigns development projects while managing the team’s bandwidthEvaluates and prioritizes development projects ensuring consistency and compliance with corporate standards, initiatives, and established training mandates optimizing processes for efficiency; ensures all training curricula (PPT, activities, participant and facilitator guides, etc.) and supporting materials are instructionally sound and meet defined objectives.Facilitates the primary responsibilities and executes Train-the-Trainer pilot classes for new and enhanced curricula and provides direction and strategies for delivery to ensure consistency and accuracy of deliverables optimizing processes for efficiency; observes facilitators and provides appropriate positive and constructive feedback.Develops and facilitates leadership programs designed to develop leadership skills, measuring the effectiveness and impact on the business.Selecting and managing resources and technologies, including working with both internal employees and training vendors to develop and deliver training.Conducts analysis of training impact including analyzing ROI, participant and management feedback, documentation of behavior change, documentation of knowledge transfer, and the like.Collaborates with management and oversees the creation of global and customized learning paths that prepare employees to better meet current and future business objectives.Performs all other duties as assigned.Serious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Organizational Development, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent work experience.Minimum of five (5) years of creation/development of instructor-led training, facilitating participant-centered training programs, and analyzing feedback and reports regarding training, which includes at least 1–2 years as a team lead or supervisor and knowledge of learning & development best practices.Able to oversee and evaluate training development process, materials, curricula, and provide constructive feedback, and proven track record of training program development and management.Excellent leadership skills with excellent communication (written and oral), organizational, and interpersonal skills.A self-starter who takes initiative in finding solutions to difficult and unique problems/opportunities.Ability to multi-task and work at both strategic and tactical levels and with detailed and sensitive information.Flexibility and adaptability to work with multiple projects and deadlines in a fast, fluid, and dynamic environment.Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet navigation.Able to travel locally and nationally to provide training.Able to sit and stand for extended periods of time facilitating training sessions.Required to lift 10-20 lbs. of training materials or other documents.SWBC offers*:
