About the job 

The Training and Communications Manager will play a vital role in ensuring that our restaurants and franchise teams are well-trained and informed. This new role will allow you to get creative in how we communicate and ensure that key messages and best practices are shared across our restaurant estate. You'll work closely with the Restaurant Excellence Manager and the People Team to make sure our communication strategies are as tasty as our pizzas. This means participating in cross-functional meetings, sharing best practices, and contributing to our overall strategy. Plus, you'll be analysing and improving ways of working for our store teams, embedding Yum! global tools, systems, and practices to drive continuous improvement.

Day in the Life 

In this role you will: 

Be the go-to person for keeping our restaurant teams informed, inspired and connected Your creative skills will be put to use, crafting and delivering key messages to keep everyone in the loop, from creating engaging comms to leading our monthly calls  Manage our franchise engagement calendar  Act as the owner for the UKI business for all training implementation projects or marketing calendar projects  Maintain our Pizza Hut content library, Pizza Hut Wiki  Collaborate with the Restaurant Excellence Specialist to prepare training materials for new product and concept launches  Provide data reporting related to our Best Jobs strategy, this includes leading the analysis and action planning of our Best Voices survey and our progress to building capability in our restaurants  Provide insights linking capability to operational performance  Deliver engaging training workshops helping our restaurant managers reach their full potential Liaise with our self-sufficient franchise partners to enable certification of their restaurant managers  Organise and prepare candidates for their Restaurant General Manager sign off
