Allied Universal is looking to hire a Training and Compliance Manager for a client HQ in Warren, Michigan. This position administers, organizes, and conducts company and client training programs for all employees assigned to client facility and all facilities within the US. They assess several elements and alternatives providing input to update policy and procedure based on client needs, train new managers employees and assist lower-level personnel, and ensure client contract training and certification requirements are tracked and accounted for. The Training and Compliance Manager is responsible for multiple training coordinators who will assist them in most on-site training needs.
Travel Requirement: up to 50% annually
Must possess a valid driver’s license, have own vehicle and have a clean driving record for last 2 years
With regards to the actual position, there is a requirement to become a NRA Law Enforcement Firearm Instructor, therefore all candidates must meet one(1) of the following requirements to be considered:
At least (3) years experience as a current licensed private security officer or privatized correctional officer who is authorized and required to be armed in official capacityAt least (3) years experience as a current, retired or previously employed public law enforcement or correctional officer, working for a federal, state, county municipal or other government agency who is required to be armed.A current(not retired or former) uniformed or civilian member of the US Military, Military Reserves or National Guard, or a Full-Time civilian firearms instructor employed by a Public Law Enforcement Agency or a Government Contractor (GSA) Approved*Allied Universal will cover costs related to obtaining any necessary certifications related to the position
Salary: $70,000 annually + Gas Card and Auto Allowance
RESPONSIBILITIES:
TRAINING:
Manage the training function for a team of managers, officers and responders, site supervisors, and/or shift supervisors, including coaching, development, and support.Develop and deliver training modules—scenario-based and OJT—compliant with the circle of skills assessment model and development of employees for future roles and opportunities.Work in conjunction with the Enterprise Accounts Vice President to develop staff in both technical and professional skills through performance management (coaching, counseling, disciplining, annual formal performance evaluations, recognition, etc.)Coordinate and conduct site-specific tours to the complete circle of skills standard, client-specific training, and annual refresher training; training audits; gate vehicle inspections for “cat-pipes” copper or other high-value material pilferage prevention for security personnel; and meet Allied Universal’s corporate training standards.With corporate assistance as needed, create and institute a Security Field Training Officer program that is constantly building upon previous successes and enables a more competent cadre of security professionals in AUS with professional and capable security personnel.COMPLIANCE:
Track and maintain compliance of all client and Allied Universal compliance requirements as related to risk and safety for the security force; assist in the development and/or delivery of the same for the client workforce.Track and maintain compliance of all training related KPI’s as outlined in the Master Services AgreemMSA (MSA) and Scope of Work (SOW).Track and maintain records of all trainings: OJT, JSA, Safety Orientations, CPR, Firearms Training, and other deliverables as required.Develop, track, and deliver reporting on training specific to all General Motors sites.Develop, track, and deliver reporting for all employees at General Motors sites.QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):
High School Diploma or equivalentMinimum of three (3) years of instructor experiencePass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing as required, including, but not limited to:CPR/FirstAID/AED Certified InstructorInstructor certifications in supplement training areas as required by contractMust have a valid driver’s license or be able to pass a state licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicleAbility to update training documents, and prepare extensive presentations. Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project and SharePoint).Leadership skills that foster teamwork, innovation, agility, client relations and achieving desired resultsAbility to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support client's growth and satisfactionResults-oriented problem-solving skills that meet client and employee needsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):
