Job Title: Lead Training and Development Specialist Job Description The Training Specialist will be responsible for the overall performance of the Training Academy. This role involves coordinating retailer training efforts, serving as the point of contact for Retailer Management regarding training progression, identifying training needs, and recommending classes to fulfill training objectives. Responsibilities + Manage all resources to ensure rooms are set up and ready for classes. + Distribute training reports to Field and Retailers including Regional Vice President, Regional Performance Managers, and Customer Service Market Managers. + Guide field and retailers on compliance levels and plans for achievement, solve issues, and provide support around escalations of help required by retail personnel. + Ensure the Academy is operational as required, efficient, and fully utilized. + Manage Academy and schedule room management with outside training vendors for both technical and non-technical training classes, setup, attendee booking, shipping/receiving training materials, building access, etc. + Guide field teams and retailers on compliance levels and plans for achievement to Training Objectives. Essential Skills + Experience in the automotive industry + Familiarity with retailer and dealer development and processes + Training development + Customer service + Training documentation + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience as an A-level Technician + 3 or more years of experience in the customer service industry, preferably in an automotive corporate HQ or automotive dealership + 3-5 years of experience in an automotive environment with customer/retailer interaction + Demonstrated commitment to customer service + Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail + Team-oriented self-starter + Ability to work under pressure and meet firm deadlines while consistently delivering a high standard of work Work Environment + This role is based at the US Headquarters in Irvine, CA. + The Training Specialist will need to be in the office 5 days a week - Working hours are from 7:30 or 8:00 AM, 8 hours each day. + The dress code is business casual, with the possibility of receiving a uniform in January.
