The role

The Training Capability Lead is responsible to the CTO for the identification of new or innovative technology or learning methodologies that will enable learning and support contract growth or provide efficiencies. They are also in place to work with the programme teams, Partners and customers to identify growth opportunities and develop compelling technical solutions that provide value for money and customer delight. As a member of the technical team their main duties include:

Support the TTS CTO with horizon scanning activities to enable innovation and customer delight, linked back to our technology and capabilities and, where applicable, external technology and capabilitiesDemonstrable understanding of the DSAT (JSP822) and other training/learning design processes and models, experience in TNA development would be usefulWork with the project team to develop and manage a clear stakeholder engagement strategy and programme to enable innovation and growthBuild relationships with stakeholders, through clear and consistent communications to build internal knowledge of their individual needs and broader challengesProduce technical papers detailing technology and innovation capabilities to inform internal teams and customersLead the development of short and long-term plans for all communications and engagement activities necessary to enable programme growth and innovationEstablish key performance indicators and measures to monitor progress and delivery for stakeholder engagement activitiesAct as the key contact for a wide range of stakeholders, delivering all internal and external change and pipeline opportunitiesSupport the development of large programme business growth proposals as the technical leadProviding advice and information to help ensure that training solutions are consistent and coherent with the wider training system.             Identifying and articulating responses to new or changing training requirements, which may arise from major customer changeIdentifying the optimum training solution(s) to meet the Authority’s training requirements, balancing time, cost and quality, and define the training solution at the appropriate level of detail to enable Training Design to commence

Essential:

The Training Capability Lead should have experience of technical leadership and management and developing technical proposals through all phases including initial concept, bid and proposal, planning, execution and close. The Training Solution Lead will have:

A demonstrable and applied knowledge of learning technology and methodologiesStrong consultancy skills and experience of developing business partnershipsExperienced and capable in developing compelling technical proposalsCommunicate proposals and status, clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical audiences.Actively improve the capabilities and knowledge across the TTS business.Good planning and organisational skillsReport writing skillsStrong analytical skillsGood level of IT knowledge.
