Position Summary
Reporting to the Training Manager, the Training Clerk, will be responsible for data entry of training records into system software, filing and storage of attendance, employee training files, and other administrative tasks for PNR RailWorks Ontario business units. The ability to multi-task, while maintaining complex schedules and managing administrative support, is essential for this position. Ideal candidate for this position is resourceful, a good problem solver and organized.
Primary/Essential Responsibilities and Duties
Data entry into the organization’s ERP system for training records, history and qualifications Organizing training files, attendance, and qualification records Schedules and coordinates classroom training as directed by training department – schedules location, date/time, materials, attendance and accommodations Collects, compiles and reports results of evaluation, attendance, and training data Copies training materials and makes up manuals as directed Maintains management training tracking process, enters data, tracks completion Maintain and manage training records and ensure compliance with Quality Management System Support a positive safety and learning culture to maintain on-going employee development Perform other duties as required by the Training Department
Required Skills and Qualifications
Post‐secondary degree/diploma program in a related field or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience Ability to multi-task and communicate professionally with all levels of employees Strong attention to detail, planning and organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite such as Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio etc.
