Badger Meter is hiring a Training Content Intern onsite at our Milwaukee facility this summer.
The Badger Meter Internship Program provides hands-on, real-world experience to students through projects that make a difference! In addition to your projects, you will be given the opportunity to participate in our robust Intern program focused on Badger Meter Culture, professional development, community outreach and a final capstone project.

As an intern with the Training Services team, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering various types of training courseware, including on-demand, virtual instructor-led, and traditional instructor-led formats. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience by collaborating with subject matter experts in the fields of water metering, quality, and networks. This intern will assist with virtual or onsite learning events and learn how to create training materials for different audiences.
Essential Job Duties:
Collaborate with subject matter experts to create comprehensive training materials.
Utilize ADDIE methodologies to develop and refine instructional content.
Work alongside a team of instructional designers and trainers.
Engage with a variety of learning technologies, including Docebo, Camtasia, and Articulate.
Contribute to projects by creating new training modules and updating existing materials.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Instructional Design, Education, Training, Communications, Urban Studies, Environmental Studies, Hydrology, Biology, Chemistry, General Sciences or related field.
Basic experience Office 365 Suite
Enjoys teaching and public speaking
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for water conservation
