Janicki Industries is an innovative, family-owned aerospace company located at the foot of the Cascades. We focus on engineering and manufacturing complex projects for companies in the aerospace, defense, and space industries. We are looking for a Training Coordinator to join our growing team.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Training Coordinator works closely with all areas of the company to facilitate the Company’s training programs. The ideal candidate will have the ability to establish, monitor, track, and collect feedback on various training initiatives throughout the company. This role will be in the Human Resource department but requires collaboration to all areas of the company.  

The following essential job functions are performed as a Training Coordinator:

Drafts, edits, and maintains collection of training documents and other learning materials Creates and manages training schedules for training across all areas of the company, including training for regulatory & compliance, customer requirements, and corrective action requirements in additional to internal purposes Evaluates training material for adherence to company training philosophy and effectiveness Recommends and drives improvements in overall company training strategy, administration, and tracking Oversees the creation, uploading, and organization of learning materials and courses int eh Learning Management System Oversees the maintenance of employee training records Collects feedback from recently trained employees and audits trainings to understand improvement areas Internally recruits and train new trainers: delegating training tasks to new trainers and evaluating performance Promotes and advertises training opportunities to employees Must work well under pressure, meeting and completing multiple deadlines Must be at work on time and maintain good attendance. This is a condition of employment and is an essential function of the job Oversees record-keeping processes and compiles status reports for tracked training Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

MUST BE U.S. CITIZEN OR LEGAL PERMANENT RESIDENT FOR THIS POSITION. 

Due to our ITAR and EAR regulations, applicants must be a US Citizen or of Legal Permanent Resident Status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b (a) (3).

 EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s Degree required. Prior training coordination experience preferred.   Experience tracking multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously. Ability to communicate across departments. Excellent Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word skills.   Strong time management and organizational skills. Knowledge of training methods and techniques. Must have effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Salary range for this role is between $65,000 - $80,000, plus discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits. Employees can also receive additional pay for off-shifts. The range provided is Janicki’s estimate of the base compensation for this role. Actual amount offered will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as experience, location, education, training, skills, and abilities
