Contributions

Contributions: 

As a Training Coordinator you will be responsible for guiding government clients through our Design Intelligence™ framework; incorporating human-centered and design thinking methods to focus on the people impacted by transformation and change engaging them to embrace and adapt to new ways of working while identifying and mitigating areas of resistance.

Support the training team by creating scheduled and tracking training tasksSupporting the development of training related communications such as marketing products, training newsletters, and updatesCommunicating directly with trainees related to course registration, schedule updates, prerequisites, and other itemsCollecting feedback during training events and helping evaluate and interpret comments to inform future training updates Playing an active role in discussions related to training revisions and improvementsSupporting the development of high quality e-learning products ranging from demo videos and micro-learnings to full coursesLearning enough about the heavily-customized Salesforce platform we have delivered to our clients so you can serve as a facilitator backstop for in-person (DC or overseas) or virtual training sessions Understanding the logistics processes related to running in-person, virtual, and overseas training so you can assist with the planning and execution of those events

 

Qualifications

Required:

Ability to obtain a U.S. government Public Trust Security Clearance Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and/or experience2+ years of experience in large scale IT training effortsExperience with full cycle e-learning course development following the ADDIE or SAM frameworkDemonstrated experience supporting the development of event or training related communications productsHigh quality interpersonal and written communications skillsDemonstrated experience organizing or facilitating trainings, meetings, or other events Demonstrated customer service skillsA collaborative, flexible, solution-oriented mindset The ability to proactively recognize challenges and generate potential solutions without needing to be given step instructionsStrong organizational skills with the ability to effectively track and support multiple projects and assignments simultaneously Local to Washington DC Metro areaAbility to occasionally support training events in client's DC officesInterest and ability to travel internationally up to 10% of the year to support trainings at overseas sites

Preferred Skills:

Experience working with SalesforceDeep experience working with the following e-learning development tools: Articulate 360 – Storyline and Rise, Camtasia, Snagit Strong presentation and facilitation skillsDeep experience utilizing Google Workspace and Office 365 toolsPrevious work experience in or with the federal government (USAID specifically)Previous work experience as a consultant Knowledge of Human-Centered Design / Customer Experience Design principles Experience working on multi-disciplinary, cross-functional teams including Service Designer, UX and UI designers, technologists, data scientists, engineers, and solution architects Experience working within an Agile delivery framework 

 

About steampunk

Steampunk relies on several factors to determine salary, including but not limited to geographic location, contractual requirements, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,000 to $140,000.  The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position.
