The Training Coordinator reports to the Training Manager and is responsible for supporting the Training Manager with the execution of various training programs within the organization. Their main goal is to ensure employees receive the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively through excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
Job Responsibilities
In addition to following company policies and procedures, main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
+ Design, develop, and implement training programs.
+ Schedule and coordinate training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
+ Select appropriate training methods (e.g., on-the-job, e-learning, workshops).
+ Conduct training needs analysis by consulting with managers and employees.
+ Create or source relevant training materials, handouts, manuals, and online resources.
+ Ensure materials are up to date and aligned with company standards.
+ Maintain training records and databases.
+ Provide reports on training outcomes and improvements to management.
+ Track employee progress and completion of mandatory training.
+ Assist employees in understanding training programs and ensure they are motivated.
+ Provide ongoing support and guidance during and after training sessions.
+ Ensure training programs comply with company policies and regulatory standards.
Requirements & Skills
+ Presentation and facilitation skills.
+ 2-5 years of experience in training, human resources, or employee development roles.
+ Preferred experience with instructional design, training methodologies, or e-learning tools.
+ Strong organizational skills.
+ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
+ Problem-solving abilities to address training challenges and adapt methods.
+ Ability to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements.
+ Proficient in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other training software.
+ Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
+ Team player with the ability to collaborate across departments.
+ Adaptability to changing company needs and employee requirements.
+ High level of interpersonal skills to engage and motivate employees.
+ Strong time management skills to balance administrative tasks with training responsibilities.
Qualifications
+ Excellent written/oral communication and strong presentation skills
+ Passion for employee development and continuous learning.
+ Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
+ Strong initiative and self-motivation to improve training programs and outcomes.
+ Ability to commute.
+ Flexible availability can work mornings, nights, and weekends as needed.
+ Professional appearance.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial modeling tools.
+ Preferred professional certifications related to training and development, such as:
+ Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP)
+ Certified Training and Development Professional (CTDP)
+ Adult Learning Theory Certification
+ Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
