The Training & Development Specialist is responsible for the research, proposal, design, implementation and conducting of any respective training and development program. They should attend any necessary training on hosting the programs, as well as collaborate with any necessary internal or external personnel.

The Training & Development Specialist will also have the opportunity to work on projects and programs that support the learning and skill development needs of our businesses.

General Responsibilities
• Key participant in conducting training sessions
• Key participant in the testing of trainees to evaluate and measure their learning process
• Collaborate on the design and development of training and educational programs
• Key participant in coaching sessions for less experienced peers, and to further individual ability and skill with hosting training and development programs

Experience / Qualifications
• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers

Additional Experience/ Skills

Training creation and facilitation  experience preferred.Learning Management System (LMS) experience preferred.Experience with content creation tools is a plus.  For example- Articulate.Experience with content creation in MS PowerPoint is a plus.Workday experience is a plus.Travel 10%
