Under the general direction of the Department Chair, Chief Administrative Office (CAO), Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and other Department leaders and in concert with other research administrative staff, you will bear primary responsibility of all pre- and post-award administration for intra/extramurally funded research awards for Departmental Principal Investigators (PIs).  This position will serve as the Training Grant Coordinator in the Department of Neurosurgery. The Training Grant Coordinator uses skills as a seasoned, experienced, research administrator to independently develop and / or oversee research proposals, awards, and / or transactions related to contract and grant management and maintains contract and grant records in compliance with institutional research sponsor policies. You will work on proposals and awards of diverse scope where analysis of data requires thorough understanding of complex regulations. You will complete and approve transactions for signature by the manager or other authorized institutional official.

Salary Range: $68800 – $141000/Annually
