TRAINING INSTRUCTOR (EA-18G AVIONICS/ASM ADM)
Summary You will serve as a TRAINING INSTRUCTOR (EA-18G AVIONICS/ASM ADM) of CNATT UNIT WHIDBEY ISLAND. Responsibilities You will utilize course materials and training aids to provide formal classroom and laboratory instruction to Navy personnel on the EA-18G Initial and Career Organizational Level Maintenance and Airborne Electronic Attack and Protection systems. You will perform Advanced Skills Management (ASM) administrator duties as the Learning Management Office (LMO) Specialist providing oversight and management of the commands ASM program. You will provide instruction on Electronic Attack Unit (EAU), AN/ALQ-99 Tactical Jammer System, AN/ALQ-218 Receiver System, Multi-Mission Advanced Tactical Terminal (MATT), and Interference Canceling System (INCANS). You will review, develop, update, and evaluate course curriculum, training aids, and other media. You will review, correct, route, sign, and manage instructor evaluations and qualification in ASM including the updating of electronic forms for routing. You will participate in student evaluations and academic counseling programs and student advisory boards in accordance with current directives. You will manage and provide Command with updated instructor trackers with information derived from ASM and local routing. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Updating and evaluating course curriculum, training aids and equipment; 2) Providing classroom instruction as an EA-18G/F-18 Organizational Maintenance qualified subject matter expert using audio-visual media and training devices; 3) Preparing/administering examinations in accordance with current directives; 4) Providing management, routing, and updates to databases to include excel spreadsheets and word documents utilizing Advanced Skills Management (ASM); 5) Creating, updating, and managing ASM as changes occur in accordance with current course curriculum and instructor qualification processes. Education Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree OR Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree.
