Sodexo is hiring a Training Manager within Environmental Services and Housekeeping for the University of Southern California (USC) Hospital System.

 

The System Training Manager will be based out of Keck Hospital of USC, however there will be some occasional travel to USC Norris and USC Verdugo Hills.  The right candidate will design, implement and oversee the frontline and manager training for all USC system sites, specifically tailored to the Environmental Services Department.  In this role, among other duties, the System Training Manager will select training topics, design syllabi, conduct new hire orientation, track and monitor training compliance, and support sites with training campaigns, and programs. 

 


The successful candidate for this role will:  

Onboard new employeesLead department orientation for environmental servicesConduct initial safety trainingComplete monthly Sodexo Safety TrainingAdminister safety auditsEvaluate the patient experience program to improve patient satisfaction scoresFacilitate courses and workshops to increase awareness and grow the skills of othersAssist in the development of training strategyIdentify and implement new ideas, technologies, or processes to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, cost-savings, and improved patient satisfaction scoresDevelop learning strategies and plans with business unit leaders based upon deficiencies identified in a needs assessment

Our ideal candidate will have:

Experience coordinating and conducting training sessions for small and large groupsExcellent presentation skills, communication skills and interpersonal skillsFluency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and SharePointThe ability to engage large and small audiences in training opportunitiesStrong organization, communication and project management skillsThe ability to analyze and interpret data
