Training Manager

**Core Job Responsibilities:**
• Perform yearly assessment and develop training strategy for key functions including but not limiting to sales, marketing, business support team
• Execute and train commercial team on skill and knowledge align to Global, APAC guidance and programme including but not limited to sales force, marketing and business support.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training courses & programs and make proposal to improve its effectiveness.
• Monitor, tracking training programme in Sum Total (and any other systems) for activities rolled out such as onboarding programme, role play and Product Knowledge Test.
• Establish training modules, curriculum on medical, product knowledge for core products of the organization. Maintain and upkeep a repository of all training materials.
• Lead in-field assessment of FLM and Reps and provide feedback and improvement plans to leadership team.
• Be a member of organizing committee of national sales conference, ad hoc project team member as assigned, onboarding programme, manages communicates programs & other business meetings.
• Extend support to other affiliate, division, stakeholders on project basis.
**Minimum Experience/Training Required:**
• 5 to 10 years' experience in pharmaceutical/FM CG, related industry.
• Experience working as a Sales Rep and Front-Line manager.
• Exposure to Sales Management and Marketing practices
• At least 3 to 4 years' experience in Sales Training with practical experience in training delivery/content development.
• Created and implemented training plans and budget.
• Managerial experience in sales involving leading small teams.
• Exposure in using digital tools for enhancing learning will be useful.
**Knowledge**
• General operational knowledge of how the core commercial processes and methodologies work, product knowledge and understanding of how they impact financial results Strong understanding of country and global processes and guidelines.
• Commercial knowledge and Business acumen
o Deep operational knowledge of sales tools, selling process, segmentation methodologies, marketing and product management practices, brand plans, qualitative and quantitative parameters.
o Deep understanding of various sales management jobs/competencies
• Training need identification, delivery and assessment
o Strong Facilitation and Presentations skills.
o Content development; creating learning aids; Training need analysis process;
o On boarding processes
o Training evaluation/ impact of delivery methods
o Assessment center process
o Training budgeting and planning
• Leveraging Technology
o Familiarity of using different learning solutions for effective engagement during ILT and virtual sessions including enhanced interactivity tools like -e.g. quiz, mentimeter, polls etc
• Industry knowledge
o Familiarity of sales/ marketing practices in the industry
o Industry and Competitor best practices -pharmaceutical landscape, industries which have high digital/ virtual touch points with employees
• Talent development/ Retention Training Impact
o Familiarity with coaching practices
o Institutionalizing career paths and career development programs.
