The Red Hat Global Training Operations team is seeking a highly detail-oriented and analytical Operations Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role involves collaborating closely with the Training Business unit and other support functions to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
As an Operations Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in managing operational processes, including delivery expense procurement and revenue operations, while overseeing multiple sub-activities. The ideal candidate will excel at ensuring activities are executed in alignment with established processes and will drive efficiency through insightful data analysis & reporting.
This position requires effective cross-functional coordination, working closely with teams such as Sales, Procurement, Finance, Delivery, IT, and others.
What you will do:
Training Revenue Management: Oversee the recording and reconciliation of training revenue by collaborating with Finance and other support teams.
Revenue-Related Discussions: Lead or actively participate in discussions regarding training modalities revenue to ensure visibility and alignment across Sales, Delivery, and Finance teams.
Revenue Accuracy: Ensure precise management of revenue soft credits (as reported globally), revenue sharing, and revenue backlog for the training business.
Procurement Management: Handle procurement processes, including initiation, cost estimation, recording, reconciliation, receipt, accruals, and collaborate with the Delivery team on cost forecasting.
Data Analysis: Analyze monthly procurement data to provide actionable insights to Finance, business stakeholders, and Delivery teams.
Learning Management System (LMS) Support: Manage and support Level-1 LMS tickets raised via ServiceNow or email, ensuring efficient resolution for internal stakeholders.
LMS Order Processing: Create and manage LMS orders (new or backfill) while coordinating with stakeholders, vendors, partners, and customers.
Reporting: Generate LMS reports to support analytical discussions with functional teams and stakeholders.
Process Automation and Standardization: Contribute to the automation and standardization of training tools to improve operational efficiency.
Data and Reporting Support: Work with Red Hat Sales Cloud data reports, Outreach reports, and LMS reports to support seamless end-to-end business processes.
Stakeholder Engagement: Represent and lead training operations for your region by participating in stakeholder meetings at both Geo and Global levels.
What you will bring:
Degree in Business or Operations Management, Finance, or in a relevant field
Experience in the same/ similar domain with around 7+ years of experience
Customer interaction & stakeholder management is a must for this role.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
Proficient in tool management on various Training Platforms like SFDC (or any CRM system), and advanced Excel.
Familiarity with financial reconciliation processes is a plus.
Overall knowledge of CRM systems and the opportunity cycle, including the commercials associated with CRM.
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
The salary range for this position is $74,900.00 - $119,830.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.Pay Transparency
Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
