This position is responsible for ensuring staff readiness and success in adopting and effectively using enterprise computer systems. The Training Specialist-Institutional Systems delivers training and education to various levels of employees in a variety of settings, including traditional classroom, one-to-one, small group and e-learning.

Responsibilities Creates lesson plans, training exercises and aids, reference documents, evaluation tools, and online training materials.Serves as a member of IT or operational project teams to support the development and customization of systems. Provides feedback on system quality and features.Assists in developing and translating operational workflows into the education and training process.Assists management in the development and deployment of department and organizational training plans.Conducts training of institutional systems and related processes.Provides on-site user support, troubleshoots user problems.Responds to phone calls, email inquiries, and trouble tickets from users on a variety of training and application topics.Knowledge / Skills / AbilitiesAbility to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined above.Demonstrated computer, organization, human relation, and effective verbal and written communication skills.Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks.Demonstrated teaching, customer service, and resource coordination skills.Ability to identify different learning styles and adapt the teaching method accordingly.Ability to learn and become proficient on the systems they train. Qualifications QualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Education, Communication, Information Systems, Computer Science, Organizational Development, Organizational Behavior, Human Resources, Business, or a related area.Two year of experience organizing and conducting adult education.
