The **Training Specialist, Junior** aids in the management of the training content development for a USMC Logistics program with thousands of users. Training products will include technical documentation, short-format training videos, and training webinars that incorporate content derived from the software development and initial user training. The **Training Specialist, Junior** will collaborate with the Training Lead in the development of training while working closely with the Agile Development teams, subject matter experts, and the system’s product owners and must have the ability to be flexible for revisions, share ideas, concepts, and brainstorm. The role also shares or collaborates technically to improve systems and solve problems. Creativity is welcomed and encouraged. **Responsibilities** + Collaborate on content development while working with customers on training design, strategies, and objectives; makes recommendations on enhancing training materials and deliveries to ensure maximum user adoption. + Work in an Agile Development Team environment translating Systems Engineering processes and outputs into designing and developing training content. + Designing training content, developing training design strategy, developing learning objectives and lesson plans, and applying design methods to improve instructional effectiveness. + Ensuring educational content aligns with user task lists and learning goals. + Develop and deliver workshops and training to facilitate best practices for developers to ensure a seamless transition between online help, user documentation, and video-based training. + Produce training materials in a variety of formats including print, graphics, audio, video, and multimedia to support training objectives. + Work with the development lead to maintain configuration management of training projects as well as other related files and records. + Other duties as assigned. **Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree + 4+ years of experience as an Instructional Designer or similar role + 2+ years in the development of video or multi-media training material + 2+ years of experience with hosting training webinars + Experience with Adobe Premier and Adobe Captivate. + Experience with Adobe Suite including After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign (preferred). + Background check required. + Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust. **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:** + Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, imaging capture software, and webinar hosting applications such as Webex and Microsoft Teams. + Ability to write technical instructions for application software. + Ability to edit video, create graphics, edit audio., + Ability to handle projects with multiple moving parts + Ability to work under pressure to meet a deadline + Excellent communication skills + Strong organizational skills that include understanding the archiving of source materials, project elements, and backup systems for projects **How you’ll grow** At Chenega MIOS, our professional development plan focuses on helping our team members at every level of their careers to identify and use their strengths to do their best work every day.
