Scope of the job:

Responsible for the local delivery of functional and product training and development for STC employees, to ensure that STC employees perform in a highly professional manner and to the required level of competency. To support the STC management team to train and develop the employees to help the business achieve its strategic objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

Designs and develops required local training programs with respect to the global training and development framework.Consults with management and establishes Individual Training Plans (ITP), according to RASCI and manages the plans in Learning Link.Markets available training to employees, and provides necessary information about sessions.Sets up and trains local technical specialists, (Product Trainer training), which are certified to give SOJT for the STC organisation.Conducts local training needs assessments and identifies skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed.Is a partner with the Global Training Manager STC, the wider Semi T&D and VTS Academy team regarding instructional design and training needs.Maintains updated curriculum database and training records in Learning Link.Builds annual training programs and prepares training plans for local STC employees.Directs structured learning experiences and monitors their quality results.Acclimates new hires to the business and conducts on-boarding sessions.Assesses training effectiveness to ensure incorporation of taught skills and techniques into employees work behavior through adoption of Kirkpatrick training evaluation principles.Periodically evaluates ongoing programs to ensure that they remain accurate and relevant to the audience.Evaluates trainee's performance and develops assessment instruments.Ensures job codes in Learning Link are correct so that training can be assigned as required by job code.Supports Never Stop Learning Festival (NSLF) or equivalent, working with the local and global L & D teams.Becomes accredited to deliver internal and external developed training courses from VT and  group if required.Supports HR with areas of induction / onboarding that relates to learning.Supports local delivery of product training and NPI capability.Support, train and audit the local operations team in the correct use of AG5.Support the local operations team in the gap analysis for every individual and the allocation of the needed trainings.Support the local operations team in the allocation of the needed country specific, workplace specific and Product specific trainings for every individual in AG5 and the allocation of the corresponding trainings.

Skills/Knowledge/Experience

Proven work experience as a Training Coordinator, Trainer, Zone leader or similarProven design and develeopment of training materials and course development for delivery on different platformsHands-on experience coordinating or executing training eventsBasic understanding of principles of adult learningAdequate knowledge of learning management systems and web delivery toolsAbility to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, deliver, monitor and evaluate)High attention to detail and QA of materials and coursesFamiliarity with traditional and modern job training methods and techniquesStrong communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office suiteLocal language and proficient in English – written and speaking
