Job Description

The Training Specialist is responsible for the development and sustainment of internal training programs and systems.  This includes but not limited to: administration of Learning Management System, facilitation of “train the trainer” training, developing and documenting training processes and maintaining skills matrix.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

Promote and assure safe work habits including compliance and improvements to company and plant safety procedures and goalsPartner will department leaders to develop robust individual training plans for hourly colleaguesDevelop Documentation/Capturing OEM training, assisting with knowledge transferCreate a maintain all training record accounts for all colleagues.  Provide production technical expertise and develop on-the-job (OJT) train the trainer program.Promotes and or participates in high performance work teams throughout the organization.  Leads and supports CI initiatives.Administers the Learning Management Systems; including training record input and report generation.Lead in the development, writing, and implementation of procedures and instructions. Initiate ways to improve the training processCoordinate new hire training schedules and evaluationsLead in establishing the training requirements that determine qualifications.  Areas of training include: safety, housekeeping (5S), GMP, operating techniques and procedures, inspection and testingVerifies that training requirements have been satisfactorily met for position and qualifications, including proficiency testingProvide one on one (classroom and hands on) training on procedures and instructions to new and existing employees, along with monitoring employee progressInvolvement, support and leadership in CI projectsDeliver other training content as needed.

WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU

Bachelors degree or Equivalent combination of education and experience2-4 years of experience in Training or similar role.Manufacturing experience is preferred but not required. Hands on experience, documenting and facilitating a training manual.
