To support this effort, we seek a Training Specialist to help build a leading-edge learning program.

You will work cross-functionally and with multiple teams to help optimize and grow our training program.
The Training Specialist for One Company will design and develop effective training programs, aids and materials to facilitate training for GBS+ associates locally. You will utilize adult learning design principles, best practice and technologies to deliver functional process training, new hire training, systems or technology training and global community building. You will use digital learning tools and techniques to enhance efficiency while ensuring compliance with enterprise Learning & Development quality standards.
The Training Specialist works under the direction of the One Company Training Manager and collaborates with other training specialists, functional SMEs, change specialists and site leadership to ensure excellent associate experience in GBS+ training.
Main Responsibilities:
Training approach, plan and quality
• Understand and apply the GBS+ learning strategy and approach
• Utilize existing best practice, lessons learned and course curriculums as appropriate
• Adhere to Ecolab brand standards and quality requirements in all training materials, digital and printed
• Provide accurate and timely updates to GBS+ training and readiness leadership
• Consistently apply One Company/ GBS+ training tools and methodologies
The One Company Instructional Designe
Training Design and Development
• Develop the skills of our associates to ensure that GBS+ associates embrace the solution mindset and provide superior and consistent service to our service requestors
• Partner with subject matter experts to produce robust, sustainable high-level training content supporting the development of GBS+ associates
• Be open to feedback, listen actively, and ensure SMEs inputs are applied for best training outcomes
• Instructional Design: Develop training materials including but not limited process overviews with instructor playbooks, elearning, desk top procedures, exercise workbooks, knowledge transfer or practice exercises, knowledge checks and other appropriate learning assessments
• Develop and sustain training plans and programs for functional teams locally
• Use adult learning theory and instructional design methodology to create effective learning for the audience.
• Test, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to GBS+ learning assets and provide support relating to system for learners.
Training Delivery
• Assist GBS+ Site leaders in scheduling training, tracking completion and administering knowledge checks
• Facilitate classroom, remote, and train-the-trainer programs.
• Track training material feedback post-delivery and apply recommendations as appropriate
Collaboration
• Maintain regular connections with other GBS+ Training Specialists to assure consistent quality globally
• Collaborate with Knowledge Management Team to ensure consistency and accuracy for all learning assets in the GBS+ Knowledge Repository and across all knowledge management platforms
• Work closely with Change Specialists, Communications Managers and Talent/Recruiting team to ensure understanding of benefits, impacts, appropriate messaging, associate profiles and learning requirements, as well as workplan, dependencies and deliverable due dates.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 6-8 years experience in Instructional Design, training and/or education
• Experience working with adult learning principles, methodologies and tools
• Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to facilitate collaboration
• Proven experience in delivering high quality work, on time
• Ability to interpret, develop, and present information to multiple audiences,
• Skilled listener who can gauge reactions and guide conversations to uncover learner needs
• Proficient with MS Office suite, especially PPT, MS Forms, Microsoft Teams, Excel.
• Familiarity with elearning authoring software and video creation software
Preferred Qualifications:
• Masters Degree
• eLearning design experience and demonstrated expertise in the technical development, implementation, and troubleshooting of web-based training modules
• Experience leading training project workstreams
• Experience implementing new learning technologies
• Experience with MS Office 365 applications and various learning/collaboration tools and technologies (i.e. Microsoft Teams, SharePoint). Experience with managing data in MS Excel using Excel functions
• Experience with Power BI
• Knowledge of technical content integration standards such as SCORM
• Articulate 360 experience
• Camtasia experience
• Experience in any of the following functions: finance, supply chain, customer service, master data management, HR, IT, legal, marketing
• Familiarity with SAP and ServiceNow vernacular
