Summary You will serve as a Training Specialist in the Center for Information Warfare Training (CIWT) of INFOWARTRACMD CORRY STATION PENSACOLA. GS-7 PAY: $49,025-$63,733 GS-9 PAY: $59,966-$77,955 Responsibilities You will review and provide feedback for Government and/or Contractor submitted curriculum material. You will assist in the validation of the material and in the preparation of the material for implementation of new or revised Course of Instruction (COI). You will use a systems approach to plan and coordinate course curricula development, revision, and implementation. You will maintain all audit trail items required at the course level. You will assist Course Supervisors to collect and summarize data on Training Quality Indicator reports (TQI). Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Plan and coordinate course curricula development, revision, and implementation. 2) Oversees the design, development, maintenance, evaluation, and improvement of curricula in accordance with the requirements outlined by the Navy Training System Plan (NTSP) and the Training Project Plan (TPP). 3) Provide guidance and training management support to Training Director, Course Supervisors, Instructors, and Instructional System Specialist regarding all facets of training. 4) Assist in the validation of the material and preparation of material for implementation of new or revised Course of Instruction (COI). GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assist in providing curriculum and audit management support for a training department 2) Assist in scheduling and conducting Formal Course Reviews (FCRs), Internal Course Reviews (ICRs), and Testing Program Validation in order to improve training; and 3) Use electronic tracking and management tools necessary to manage course schedules and assigned courseware, make updates to naval education databases, and provide analytical tracking of qualification and training programs. Education In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: GS-09: Master's or equivalent graduate degree. OR 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree. OR LL.B. or J.D., if related. GS-07: 1 full year of graduate level education. OR Superior academic achievement. Applicant can also qualify with a combination of education and experience which when combined, equals 1-year specialized experience.
