Training Specialist
**Responsibilities** The Department of Defense’s (DoD) Cooperative Threat Reduction (CTR) Program works cooperatively with allies and partners to reduce or eliminate WMD threats. The DoD’s CTR Program is implemented by the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) in alignment with the 2017 National Security Strategy, 2018 National Defense Strategy, and the DoD Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction Strategy. The cooperative nature of the DoD’s CTR activities yields a secondary benefit of strengthening regional alliances, deepening existing partnerships, and attracting new partners. We are actively seeking to identify personnel to join our team of talented professionals who possess the experience, vision, commitment, and integrity to successfully support the strategic goals of theDTRA CTRprogram. Noblis is looking to hire aTraining Specialistto support theDTRA CTRMissionIntegration (CT-MI)as part of theCTR Training Team. Responsibilities for the position includetrainingsupport toCTR, as well as,coordination withCTRsubject matter experts, leadership,andAdvisory and Assistance Services (A&AS)personnel andleadership,includingbut not limited to: •Arrange andmanagelogistics fortraining events;createagendas;confirm instructors; compile roster; send out participant and instructor invitations;ensure materials are current;communicate with participants;set up training environment; facilitate course operations •Developtraining and professional development solutionsfor instructor-led and self-paced modalities •Facilitate training events •Track and maintain metric database for CTR Training portfolio •Assist in annual update of all courses •Coordinate with subject matter experts to ensure courses are aligned with CTR needs •Help plan and execute yearly Agency-wide Training Week •Actively collaborate to build networks across all of CTR •Work closely with theTraining Team leadto keep them well informed of upcomingdeadlinesand responsibilities, following up appropriately •Other projects/duties as assigned for the overall benefit of the organization **Required Qualifications** + Education/Experience: The candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher and three years relevant experience + Strong verbal and written communication skills + Exceptional organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail + DoD SECRET clearance or higher, or ability to obtain a U.S. clearance **Desired Qualifications** + •Greater than 3 years’ experience•Experience working with the U.S. government on areas concerning national security.•Familiarity with State-level and regional WMD threats.•Familiarity with nonproliferation obligations, approaches, and objectives.•International engagement experience.•High degree of professionalism in dealing with diverse groups of people, including directors, departmentleads, and overseas staff•Experience and working knowledge working in eLearning development tools•Make appropriate, informed decisions regarding priorities and available time•Ability to react with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround•Excellent communication, written, and organizational skills.•Ability to work on multiple projects which includes prioritizing, tracking, attention to detail, follow-up and follow-through to project completion.•Flexibility/adaptabilityto facilitate or instruct courses as needed•Candidates with a Secret, Top Secret, or Top Secret/SCI clearance are preferred. **Overview** Noblis (http://www.noblis.org/) and our wholly owned subsidiaries, Noblis ESI , and Noblis MSD tackle the nation's toughest problems and apply advanced solutions to our clients' most critical missions. Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked.
