Training Specialist
Amentum
Amentum is seeking cleared, full-time Training Assistant to support the Empty Pockets program. The duties include, but are not limited to the following:
+ Ability to provide in classroom training to New and Current ACS.
+ Ability to work on site to provide coaching and training to ACS
+ Ensure program received updated requirements as directed from customer and operations
+ Ability to multitask and effectively communicate Initial Access Control Specialist (IACS)/X-Ray/Metal Detector class materials to students.
+ Effectively complete training metrics, rosters, and forms as requested from the Customer/Program Management using the Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc).
+ Ability to respond to questions from Access Control Specialists or be able to request a response from a Supervisor.
+ Ability to understand the Government Technical Task Order (TTO) regarding post locations and hours.
+ Ensure Access Control Specialist staff is current on all Recertifications (i.e. IACS Recert Exam/X-Ray Recert/Metal Detector Recert), and other customer/Company required training.
+ Ability to provide customer representatives information as it relates to the Amentum ACS Training Program.
+ If no previous ACS experience, willing to attend an ACS training course and OJT from DPM, Site Manager and Supervisors.
+ If previous ACS training must be willing to go through additional training with PMO and Site Management.
+ Ability to support 5 separate customer locations with knowledge of the ACS program.
+ Other duties as assigned by Program Trainer/Program Management.
+ Ability to conduct post inspection audits.
Minimum Requirements:
+ Currently hold an active TS clearance.
+ Bachelor’s degree in communications, training, business, or a related field, OR demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ Two years of curriculum development and/or training presentation experience.
+ Must be a U.S. citizen.
+ Read, speak, and understand the English language fluently.
+ Ability to complete written reports and forms.
+ Excellent customer service skills.
Physical requirements:
+ You need to be physically able to perform all duties and functions as specified
+ You need to see well and be able to prove it. You should have 20/20 vision (with glasses and contacts if needed) and close vision correctable to Jaeger No. 4 type test for both eyes
+ You need to be free of color blindness
+ You should have normal fields of vision and good depth perception, as defined by the Snellen chart
+ You need to be able to have hearing which is correctable to normal level hearing with hearing aids. Normal hearing levels are demonstrated by a pure tone audiometry hearing level (HL) of 0 decibels (dB) or lower
+ You need to be able to stand continuously for 4 hours at a time
