Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic summer intern to join our Learning & Performance team as a Training Specialist Intern! This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in designing and developing engaging online courses, as well as administering the Workday Learning Management System (LMS) and supporting performance management processes. The ideal candidate will collaborate with subject matter experts, utilize multimedia tools, and support various aspects of Learning & Performance administration. This role is perfect for someone looking to enhance their skills in instructional design and e-learning development while contributing to the success of our organization's training initiatives.

Your Responsibilities:

Assist in designing and developing engaging online courses.Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather content and ensure accuracy.Utilize multimedia tools to create interactive and visually appealing course materials.Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure courses meet organizational standards.Support the administration of the Workday LMS, including user management, course enrollment, and reporting.Troubleshoot and resolve user issues related to the LMS.Assist in the creation and maintenance of LMS documentation and training materials.Monitor and analyze LMS data to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.Support Performance Management processes.

You Must Have:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Education, Instructional Design, Human Resources, or a related field.Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).Familiarity with e-learning authoring tools (preferred).Basic understanding of Learning Management Systems (preferred).Strong communication and writing skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employee.
