HOW A TRAINING SPECIALIST SENIOR (WARSIM) WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
The Lead Constructive Simulation Instructor prepares and delivers Constructive Simulation training based on event training. Tests and troubleshoots both hardware and software to ensure minimal downtime of systems through the use of capability documents and performance of operational readiness tests in preparation for training events; analyzes and documents flaws in system configuration and implements correctionsCoordinates the development and delivery of complex training programs and related materials in support of customer training objectivesResponsible for applying system updates and quarterly patches/ IAVAs. Analyze, test, and/ or modify configurations and software programs in order to provide pertinent solutions to system users, based on and related to user or system design specificationsConducts training sessions and develops criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities Plans, coordinates, and conducts training and related instructional programs for customer personnel Maintains records of training activities, participant progress, and program effectivenessProvides guidance and work leadership to less experienced instructorsParticipates in other projects as requiredWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: BS/BA in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or trainingRequired Experience: 6+ years of related experienceRequired Technical Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of JLCCTC-MRF/ WARSIM functional operations and Low-Overhead Driver (LOD); Operational understanding of SISO; Experience with OneSAF and JSAF; Knowledge of networking standards for distributed simulation interoperability (DIS and HLA); Configure, document, test, troubleshoot, and/or modify computer documentation related to simulation systems, to include Linux based systems, MS Windows 10, MS Windows Servers and VMWare; Knowledge of how to integrate C2 systems; Experience with importing LDIF; Working knowledge of Army War Fighting FunctionsSecurity Clearance Level: ability to obtain a SECRET clearanceRequired Skills and Abilities: Expert ability to identify and troubleshoot problems on assigned simulations (JLCCTC/JCATS) (co-located and at remote sites) and conduct basic networking troubleshooting; Demonstrated effective presentation and communication skills / Advanced knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in the delivery of training programs / Advanced knowledge of relevant technology or subject matterLocation: On Customer Site / moderate travel required to other customer sites in the AoRGDIT IS YOUR PLACE:
