Training Technician

The Trainer will be responsible for operationalize training initiatives, ranging from new employee orientation, safety, and production operations for the Chowchilla manufacturing plant, to include but not limited to researching, developing content, delivering training, and evaluating training effectiveness for new and existing employees. Training content and methods must be focused on improving performance, efficiency, productivity, safety, and engagement.

Training Program Development

 

Creating manuals, handouts, and visual aids tailored to the specific needs of the manufacturing processes. Crafting comprehensive training programs that cover various aspects of the manufacturing process, including equipment operation, safety protocols, and quality control. Engaging with employees to capture their practical knowledge and experiences, which can be incorporated into training materials to make them more relevant and effective. Using interviews, surveys, and feedback sessions to gather insights from employees about their training needs and experiences. Collaborating with production, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure training programs are aligned with operational needs.

 

Conducting Training Sessions

Introducing new hires to the company’s manufacturing processes, safety procedures, and equipment. Providing continuous training to current employees to keep them updated on new technologies, processes, and safety standards.  Ensuring all employees are trained in workplace safety protocols and emergency procedures

 

Training Organization

Creating and maintaining a training calendar to schedule all training sessions, ensuring there are no conflicts and that all necessary resources are available. Organizing the logistics for training sessions, arranging equipment, and preparing materials. Monitoring and following up on the completion of training programs to ensure all employees have completed the required training.  Coordinating both internal training sessions and corporate training programs, ensuring alignment with company goals and standards.
