Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION This National Guard position is for a TRAINING TECHNICIAN (TITLE 5), Position Description Number T5535OP01 and is part of the FL JFHQ, National Guard. Responsibilities As a Training Technician, GS-1702-09, you will administer and oversee the Individual Training Management Program within the state. The incumbent exercises technical responsibility for the Army Training Requirements and Resources System (ATRRS), Army Funding Allocation Module (AFAM), Automated Funds Control and Orders System (AFCOS), and Training Utilization Module (TUM) as it pertains to individual training. Provide program assistance and guidance to training personnel in the operations and maintenance of various automated systems. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications AREA OF CONSIDERATION: This position is in the Excepted Service "under the authority of Title 5, P.L. 114-328, Sections 932 and 1084 (FY17 NDAA)" and is open to on board (Tenure 1, 2, and 3) federal employees/ technicians (T32 and T5) within the agency. Tenure can be found in block 24 on your last SF 50. PCS: Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs, Recruitment or Relocation Incentive MAY be authorized. Authorization for payment of PCS expenses, Recruitment or Relocation Incentive will be granted ONLY after determination is made that payment is in the best interest of the Florida National Guard. FLARNG BUS Code NG5022: This position is "included" in the bargaining unit and eligible for labor organization representation. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: GS-09 must have at least one year of specialized experiences at the GS-08 level or the equivalent which provides knowledge and/or experience, education or training with Army or Air Force education and training programs regarding their principles and procedures. Experience in performing interviews and counseling techniques; training techniques and instruction methods; task analysis procedures, learning processes, curriculum development, training evaluations, and education and training systems and products; effective writing skills; editing practices; instructional media application, training reporting, program and curriculum validation, and implementation procedures. Experience in scheduling training events and facilities; supporting assistance visits and training meetings; or assisting in work center and individual job qualification standard development; education institution registration requirements; and military personnel classification system and policies. Experience in the capabilities of communicative interpersonal skill applications and distance learning concepts. Experience as a participant and presenter during training and military or civilian conference events.
