TRAMRAIL OPERATOR - 2ND SHIFT

Primary Objective:  

Doff all cloth rolls from looms and transport to roll storage area by use of tramrail.

Major Function and Scope: 

Maintain adequate supply of cores in racks. Transport tramrail and empty core to loom. Cut cloth, tape, properly tag roll. Doff cloth roll. Place empty core, tape and start loom. Transport doffed roll to roll storage area with use of tramrail. Keep a record of all rolls doffed. Obtain Quality Control lab samples and carry to supervisor’s office. Keep roll storage area clean. Report all accidents and/or injuries, no matter how slight, immediately to supervision. Actively participate in the Total Productive Maintenance Process as required. Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision Follow all established standard operating procedures Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary Perform other tasks assigned by management

Must be able to perform basic skills in math, reading, and writing to complete required tickets and reports.
