Transaction Administrator

Siemens Financial Service (SFS), Inc. is part of Siemens AG and is a leading project and asset-based financing provider worldwide. You will be part of an Operations team responsible for closing and servicing large ticket finance products, including structured loans, commercial real estate loans, construction loans, tax-exempt bonds and equipment leases. The role would be responsible for supporting Loan Closers with documentation, booking, funding and post-close/servicing of such transactions. Additionally, the candidate will work closely with multiple cross-functional teams including Sales, Risk, Legal, Pricing, Tax and Asset Management.

We are looking for a Transaction Administrator which is a Hybrid position (50% in the Iselin, New Jersey office location & 50% remote)

Essential Job Functions:

Ability to learn quickly and apply learned concepts and skills to the job.  Strong ability to communicate effectively (verbal & written) within the team and cross-functionallyStrong people skills with the ability to build good working relationships with both internal and external clients.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate the closing process of financing transactions, ensuring that all internal and external documentation, terms & conditions are satisfactorily met. Review all internally and externally prepared documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to internal approvals.Manage collateral filings, including UCCs/security liens and insurance,Manage communications to the deal team regarding closing and post-closing statuses.Support the Closing team with structuring and booking transactions in Loan IQ.Participate in pipeline calls/meetings to establish closing calendar for Operations.Work with Treasury functions for the purposes of reserving funds and processing outgoing payments.Support the Closing Team with portfolio maintenance and customer service, including early settlement calculations, payment reconciliations, portfolio documentation, invoicing/billing and collections, insurance policy renewals, UCC/lien maintenance and internal/external audit.Maintain electronic documentation library. Organize, manage and properly store paper document files. Ensure all processes are performed in compliance with Siemens internal policies.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Economics or related work experience required2+ years of proven experience in Banking or financial institution

Demonstrate a strong learning attitudeMust be detail oriented and possess strong organizational skills.Excellent critical thinking, interpersonal, and communication skills Must possess the ability to multitask and be self-motivatedProficiency with MS Office applicationsLoan IQ software system preferred

The pay range for this position is  $48,510 - $83,160 . The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
