Job Description

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure smooth and timely freight process flowEnsure accurate and timely data entry into our operational systemTrack and Trace Transcon files and reportingEnsure accurate and timely client and vendor billingEnsure delivery of freight and timely clearance when applicableInteract with customers in arranging their shipments to meet customers service standardsContribute and maintain good relationships with suppliersMeet compliance at all times?Network communications, timely responses to emails and requestsMeet KPI standards in accordance with Company policyUnderstand customers procedures and maintain updated internal DLSOPs

*Position Hours are 8am - 5pm Monday-Friday

Previous experience within the logistics field or equivalent training of 2 yearsAssociates or Bachelors Degree Solid oral and written communication skillsStrong problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skillsProficient computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service: You will be responsible for communicating effectively with customers and to ensure a compliant and complete shipment process in a timely manner, documenting customer needs for future use, and maintaining an excellent working relationship with your customers. Operational Excellence: You will take ownership of understanding and complying with Expeditors internal process standards, to complete timely, accurate and compliant documentation, customer billings and system updates accordingly.Service Provider Relationships: As a Transcon Agent you will build strong partnerships with multiple Service Providers ensuring your clients is serviced to a high level, you will ensure accurate and timely invoicing for your service providers.
