The Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process aims to transform business decision making that will result in profitable and sustainable growth balancing strategic, financial and operational objectives. It is a cross-functional, rolling planning process integrating product, marketing, sales, supply chain, partner and financial plans into one aligned plan for the business through a global standard. This single set of numbers will leverage next generation orchestration and analytic technology coupled with data and digital savvy PepsiCo talent, and – in most markets – an enabling decision-support tool, ensuring agile and fast decision-making to take us to the next level above the competition. IBP goes beyond supply & demand matching; it is a leap forward for the business, enabling faster, more coordinated and more informed decision making with increased visibility from supplier to customer. It is action-oriented and focused on the business across weekly Sales & Operations Execution (iS&OE), Period Sales & Operations Planning (iS&OP), and Yearly Strategic Planning. Global IBP: Europe Sector IBP Planning Team: The Europe IBP Planning Team is responsible for the successful deployment of our Global IBP design across the Sector. Working as part of a multi-function team with our Business Units and with the Global IBP team, we build a close understanding of business requirements and then ensure our Global Design can deliver with maximum impact. The role of the team is truly End to End, covering all elements of the process design – from Forecasting and Demand Planning through to Financial, Commercial and Supply Planning integration and the delivery of our IBP weekly and monthly forums & processes. As such, the work of this team touches all elements of the IBP programme – from Discovery and Solution Design, through to Build, Test and Deploy – balancing the benefits of harmonization & standardized processes with the specific requirements of our Business Units. As we learn more through our implementations, the Sector Planning team also works closely with the Global IBP Design teams and Sustain teams to ensure learnings and opportunities for continuous improvement are incorporated in our global approach. Responsibilities Your day to day with us: Lead all phases of the Europe IBP discovery, solution design, development, and deployment for Financial & Commercial Planning, including: - Lead fit gaps sessions to understand and document the interaction between IBP and Commercial Teams Work across Commercial Teams (Sales, Marketing, Commercialisation, RGM, GTM) and Finance Teams (eg FP&A) to ensure teams, tools and planning work together – eg the integration of Trade Promotions Management (TPM) and Mosaic with IBP DP, Forecasting and Forums. Lead definition and documentation of business requirements for all functional specification documents - with the support from Product and Consulting partners Ensure that business and user requirements are identified and addressed through the design of these processes, systems architecture, products and capabilities – with particular focus & leadership of the commercial forums and inputs to the IBP process (eg PMR, DMR, DC Forums) Design and delivery of UAT tests - to ensure successful delivery of design and business requirements. Support the maintenance of the IBP global template with a focus on the Commercial & Financial planning components of IBP and the integration with underlying Commercial planning processes for the short-term and mid-term horizons Support Data and Analytics team to ensure all data objects (GDO’s) are defined, documented, and meet all business requirements Support the development of functional training (for Commercial/Finance forums/content) together with the Capability team. Support creating and implementing proposals and strategies of recommended process improvements driving increased benefits and/or lower costs and any associated software investments Leverage and share best practice which will impact on the wider PepsiCo ecosystem ensuring the best for PepsiCo Drive a continuous improvement and capability program to harmonize planning processes. Support the hiring, training, and onboarding of new IBP process design members Qualifications What do you need to succeed? • 8+ years knowledge and experience in Commercial & Financial planning & processes – e.g Commercial Planning Processes, Channel Strategy, TPM, RGM, Customer & Channel Management • Experience in business process management & cross-functional leadership/delivery. • Experience in scale digital transformation, project management and continuous improvement. • High level of executive maturity:Interacting with, influencing & aligning peers and senior leaders. • Managing ambiguity ~ working within a complex, fluid cross-functional environment managing significant amounts of change and being able to influence a broad base of cross-functional stakeholders & peers. • The ability to understand and provide a top-line strategic view or, where needed to back up recommendations for Leadership Team decisions, a very detailed and accurate analysis is a critical skill. • High level of business acumen is required ~ must be commercially savvy, with strong analytical skills. Strong understanding of the IBP processes, demand planning and forecasting. • Excellent influencing skills, confident when dealing with all levels, including Snr Leadership Team members. Strong awareness and sensitivity to cultural differences, and ability to deal with these. • Strong team player • Self-starter capable of managing their own agenda within a complex, fast paced environment. • Comfortable with process discipline and process adherence, but also able to identify and take opportunities to further develop and strengthen the process without compromising the end state • Demonstrated degree level capability. • 8+ years of cross-functional experience at a senior level within another FMCG company What makes us different?
