Transfer Pricing (Senior) Manager (m/w/d)

As a member of the Global Operational Transfer Pricing team under the Financial Planning and Analysis COE will be instrumental in establishing transfer pricing globally for products and reviewing profitability objectives. In addition, will maintain and document global service charges.  A key contributor to the establishment and development and effectiveness of the Operational Transfer Pricing Function within FME. Works with various stakeholder groups within the Finance as well as operational community.

Main duties:

Design, implementation and execution of robust processes and controls for determining, monitoring and adjusting transfer prices[Tangible goods:] Definition and coordination of the annual processes to calculate the TFP for products; monitoring the profitability of legal entities and functions; calculation/implementation/communication of TFP adjustments and debit/credit notes; close collaboration with finance teams to align the transfer pricing concept with budgeting and forecasting processes[Global service charging:] Maintenance/documentation of the master data required for the calculation and invoicing; calculation, testing and review of cost data and the allocation keys; coordination of the regular invoicing and calculation of true-ups; review and update of the service catalogue and the catalogue of global roles[Other intercompany transactions:] Coordinate and lead various roadmap topics to further advance the function of transfer pricingStandardization and streamlining of processes, calculation templates, P&L segmentations, transaction mappings and cost classifications to improve efficiency and accuracyIdentification of opportunities for digitalization and automation to streamline workflows and increase productivityCollection, preparation and analysis of data for transfer pricing and financial impact assessments to support strategic decision-making and optimize transfer pricing strategies

Experience/Qualifications/Knowledge

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.Min. 5 years of experience in Finance with a focus on ControllingRelevant work experience in a Big-4 or multinational corporation in (Operational) Transfer Pricing, Controlling, or Transfer Pricing related topicsProficiency in financial analysis and experience in variance analysis and financial modellingAnalytical and goal-oriented mindset with a high affinity for numbersHigh proactiveness, a high degree of readiness for action as well as robustness and flexibilityTechnical knowledge: Good knowledge and strong interest in standardizing and automating reporting, controlling and governance processesLanguages: Fluent in English, German is a plusIT skills Experienced in Office 365 applications and SAP BI/BW Knowledge of SAP-ERP and dedicated transfer pricing toolsGlobal role, may need to flux working hours as required to meet deadlines or obtain country specific details
