**A Snapshot of Your Day(position overview)**
The Transformer Project
Manager West oversees transformer projects in California, ensuring cost,
schedule, quality, and technology goals are met. Based in Central California,
this role manages various Transmission Service PMO projects, including transformer
assembly, installations, re-gasketing, and component replacements. Acting as
the primary contact, the manager coordinates with Siemens Energy entities,
vendors, field service teams, and factory operations to drive successful
project execution, logistics, and interdepartmental communication.
**How You’ll Make anImpact (responsibilities)**
+ Lead all project phases from inception to completion,ensuring financial accountability and overall project performance.
+ Develop full-scale project plans and communicationdocuments for seamless coordination between customers and Siemens Energypartners.
+ Monitor project progress, labor, material costs, andefficiency while providing regular updates to teams, management, and PMO.
+ Review project contracts, specifications, scope ofwork, budgets, and risk assessments to ensure accuracy and compliance.
+ Establish project landmarks, supervise consistency tomaster plans and schedules, and provide revenue and profit forecasts.
+ Support proposal development, business plans, workstatements, budgets, and financial terms to drive successful projectexecution.
**What You Bring(requirements)**
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience inengineering, Construction Management, or similar technical subject areafrom an accredited university or college
+ Must reside in the state of California or open torelocation.
+ PMP (Project Management Professional) certificationwith sophisticated knowledge of project management processes & tools
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in electricalinstallation, transformer installation, or construction projectmanagement, preferably on projects with operating budgets over $1 million.Proven ability to lead subcontractors, field service personnel, and multi-disciplinaryteams across program management, services, engineering, operations, andlogistics.
+ Strong expertise in project communication planning,commercial reporting, risk management, and project closure and handoverprocesses. Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of optimallyleading sophisticated projects.

This job is based in California. Siemens Energy offers a variety of
health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay. Details
regarding our benefits can be found here: https://benefitsatenergy.com/thinking-of-joining.html . The base salary range for this position in California
is <$110k – $190k> and the annual incentive target is <10%> of the
base salary. Various factors, such as experience, skills, certifications,
and other business needs determine specific offers. Employees typically do not
start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual’s
qualifications.
