Transformers Product Manager
Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Transformers Product Manager. This role is based out of our Waukesha, WI facility. The Transformers Product Manager will leads all aspects and administers/implements VOC (voice of customer) collection for the C&I segment of the 3Ph Transformer Product Line. This person will work closely with 3Ph Transformers Engineering Manager/ team, the other 3Ph Product Managers and the New Product Innovation Manager to drive innovation and Engineer to Order solutions for the 3Ph Transformers business. The Product Manager must have an excellent knowledge of the product line’s C&I customers, sales channel, and a thorough understanding of the dynamics of selling power distribution equipment. ​ The expected annual salary range for this role is $120075.03 - $176110.04 a year. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. **What you’ll do:** Responsible for providing leadership in formulation and implementation of the C&I, Renewable and some Data Center customers market segment product line strategy, marketing plans and growth programs as well as the new product development/customer value propositions to enhance sales and profitability growth for the 3Ph Transformer product line. Drives/completes marketing activities and documentation required for 3Ph Transformers Pro-Launch New Product Development projects. Involved in business development with 3Ph Transformers product line team. In this role you will: + Work closely with Product Line Mgr. and Product Sales Manager, and the other 3 Phase Product Managers to achieve 3Ph Transformers Profit Plan Financials annually. Attain orders, sales, margin, and vitality sales objectives for new products developed. Business Development for product line. + For 3Ph Transformers new product development, own, lead and execute the VOC (voice of customer) process & collection into the product line for the C&I market segment. Transform inputs into new product development ideas and projects. Execute all Marketing responsibilities and documentation required in Pro-Launch new product development projects. Provide Product Roadmap input and drive key alignment to LIPE and OEM components teams. + Execute all C&I product launches (hard and soft) for 3Ph Transformers, working closely with marketing communications, engineering and product line teams. + Develop, update and implement 3Ph Transformers C&I Marketing plan (annual). Create required product line sales tools, collateral and communications. Lead product line’s participation in division wide marketing programs (i.e. trade shows, Tech Advantage events, etc.). + Work closely with the Product Line Mgr.and the other 3 Phase Product Managers in strategic planning and the development of 3Ph Transformers product line strategic plan. + Perform competitive analysis and development product competitive comparisons as needed. Maintain a pulse on the competition (their product offering, footprint, and go to market strategy). + Provide regular market update / analysis (with projections) and market intelligence to the product line manager. Support PLM with forecasting as required. + Create and update Presentations and spreadsheets as needed (Ops reviews, profit plan, staff meetings, NAS meetings, customer meetings, market share files, etc.). Support and back up PLM in assigned meetings. + Provide product training / develop training materials for Customers, ECPS sales personnel and ECPS channel partners. + Travel as required in position to get VOC data and to perform essential functions detailed above. **Qualifications:** Basic (Required) Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration or Engineering. + Minimum of 5 years of field sales experience, product line marketing experience, or related industry experience in any combination + Minimum of 2 years’ experience in strategic pricing systems and market segmentation. + Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite products and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools and electronic systems. + Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship. + No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of Waukesha, WI will be considered. Active-duty military members exempt from this geographical limitation.
