As we transform our business operations, we are looking for a new colleague to join us as Associate Director / Director, Transition and Transformation.
The objective of the GBS Transition & Transformation team/role is to build the central shared services organization by (defining, designing and) implementing the GBS strategy and by providing organizational support across functions during the build (migrations) and run phase (running operations in a shared services set-up). GBS Transition & Transformation team will manage and coordinate high scale, global implementation projects aiming to enable the company in implementing agreed scope in alignment with shared services industry practice, will enable functional business partners to build and sustain a culture and a practice of excellence and will contribute to building and maintaining a sustainable GBS organization for Company. The GBS Transition & Transformation team/role is global.
She/he will build, shape and lead a team of program and project managers to establish a well performing transformation team that enable the implementation of day strategy for Company Shared Services, drives productivity improvements on a continuous basis and achieves operational excellence against defined benchmarks in line with agreed standards. She/he will also build and develop talent, build a shared service culture and drive a continuous improvement mindset in the organization.
Your responsibilities will be:
Leadership and Management
Develop, manage the integrated implementation plan for Company Shared Services days strategyDevelop/Contribute to the shared services strategy on based on knowledge and awareness of various business scenarios that can applyDefine, design and devleop key process transformation areas required to enable succesful Shared Services organizational set-up and implementationDefine, design and execute governance model for Company Shared Services organizationCoordinates with all relevant stakeholders to ensure integration, efficiency/effectiveness of the GBS implementation for Company.Identify within current and non-current GBS scope future opportunities (need of cross functional solutions and/or new business for GBS)Prepare annual GBS Transition & Transformation business plan and build budget for approvalsBuild a shared services culture within the companyImplementation and Operations
Define and apply a structured approach and methodology for driving the implementation of the Shared Services business model (i.e migration methodology, cross functional projects required from day 1)Define, propose and implement business solutions aligned to organizational objectives and constraints (i.e Shared Services location strategy, cross functional solutions, etc.) Implements all aspects of operational changes necessary to move from existing processes/teams into the new Company GBS Set-up, achieving a balance between speed of implementation and risk of disruption to servicesCoordinate the execution of several programs/projects associated with Shared Services implementation; Manage and monitor the execution of all projects in the project portofolio on time, on budget and at expected level of qualityDevelop and enable the deployment of required infrastructure (location, methodology, etc.) for in scope functions to achieve assigned targets associated with Shared Services implementationDefine, excute portfolio/program/project governanceProvide superior level of customer service; collaborate with key stakeholders in delivering against expectationsInitiate standardization and promotes a standard and systematic approach to continuously improve business practices and performance in the shared services environmentEnsures operational excellence and compliance in running the Transition & Transformation team and outsourced services providers (i.e. 3rd party services providers) during transition and stabilization periodCollaborates within functions to gain best practices insights to measure and improve operations and leverage project effortsActively support and enable savings target achievement by in scope functions by driving the shared services implementationSponsor/enable value add, productivity & innovative solutions to support business competitive advantageManage globally project teams to support implementation of systems & processes, as per standardsPeople Management
Lead by example – Act and drive actions to support the creation of a shared services culture within Company by creating awarness on the business model and delivering value to its customersProvide leadership, training and supervision – Ensure that the transition and transformation team is sustainably staffed, developed and directedRole model a leadership style which is inclusive, proactive, respectful, change agile, innovation/creativity and results driven with a strong customer service focusShe/he will also build and develop talent, and drive a continuous improvement mindset in the organization and develop and execute training in the areas of process excellence, continuous improvement, change management, transition and transformationLeads a team of 5-10 transition and transformation project and program managers
