As a Transition Banker within J.P Morgan’s Private Banking business, you will be responsible for opening European mortgage accommodation accounts for existing relationships within JPM across the globe. You will also oversee EMEA’s closing book of clients, ensuring a strong understanding of the firm’s risk management procedures including the ‘know your client’ (KYC) process. Job Responsibilities
be responsible for the account opening process be main point of contact and in charge of managing the relationship and expectations of both the client and the internal stakeholders’ for the mortgage accommodation accounts. Manage each account to ensure that the client has a completed profile and that accounts are properly maintained and serviced, specifically adhering to J.P. Morgan Risk Management policies Ensure the KYC periodic review process is completed and ensuring our records remain up-to-date Manage the risk in both mortgage accommodation and closing account book covering all EMEA platforms and ensuring areas of concern are escalated appropriately be main point of contact for the closing accounts working in coordination with Client Service and Investor coverage as needed to assist the client in liquidating and transferring assets to an external providerRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Experience in Private Banking supporting a client focused business Achievement oriented, focused on exceeding business goals with strong attention to detail Proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines Experience or demonstrated understanding of investments and banking concepts including, but not limited to: asset allocation on structured portfolios, managed portfolios, brokerage accounts, portfolio reviews, deposit and loan solutions Excellent communication skills, both written and oral Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business including regulatory and technological environmentPreferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Multi-lingual (i.e French) Financial Qualifications will be a plus
