Job Description: Caring Transitions of Winston Salem is seeking a compassionate and organized individual to join our team as a Transition Care Specialist.  As a Transition Care Specialist, you will play a key role in providing personalized support to clients undergoing major life transitions, such as downsizing their homes or relocating to new residences. This position requires empathy, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients. Responsibilities: + Sorting and Organizing: Assist clients in sorting through their belongings, offering guidance and support in making decisions about what to keep, donate, sell, or discard. + Space Optimization: Maximize space efficiency in clients' homes by implementing innovative storage solutions and organizational strategies. + Liquidation Support:  Photography: Capture high-quality photographs of merchandise for online auction listings,    ensuring accurate representation and highlighting key features Title and Description Writing: Write engaging and descriptive titles and descriptions for auction listings, incorporating relevant keywords and details to attract potential buyers. Research: Conduct research to determine appropriate listing or items based on market trends, condition, and demand, ensuring to maximize sales. + Coordination of Services: Coordinate with external service providers, such as movers, estate sale professionals, and donation centers, to facilitate the downsizing process smoothly and efficiently. + Emotional Support: Provide emotional support and encouragement to clients throughout the downsizing process, recognizing the emotional challenges associated with letting go of possessions and transitioning to a new living environment. + Documentation and Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of clients' belongings, documenting items to be kept, sold, donated, or disposed of, and ensuring proper inventory management throughout the downsizing process. + Follow-Up and Feedback: Conduct follow-up meetings with clients to ensure their satisfaction with the downsizing process and gather feedback for continuous improvement. Qualifications: + Compassionate and empathetic demeanor, with a genuine desire to help others during challenging life transitions. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients. + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. + Experience in downsizing, relocation, senior care, or related fields is preferred but not required. + Knowledge of local resources and service providers related to downsizing and relocation is a plus. + Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism when working with sensitive client information.
