Transition Finance ManagerJob Description Summary
Provide leadership and supervision within the global transitions team, representing the finance workstream, in the setup of clients through the use of sound judgment and discretion in applying accounting principles to day-to-day processes and functions.Job Description
Direct new business onboarding by coordinating with facility management and clients; set up bank accounts, accounting software, and implement accounting processes for client service deliveryProvide subject matter expertise during RFP and client pitchesReview contract language to ensure proper set up of client billing and budget.Track team compliance with department SOC 1 audit controls; approve banking or financial transactions, schedules and reports in accordance with the SOC Policies and Procedures manual and training.Communicate risks & opportunities to finance / accounting leadership during transitionsLiase with technology and other departments to provide best set up for client delivery. Performs other related duties as required or requested.Supervisory Responsibilities:
Leads/Assigns/Delegates tasks to Transition Finance Coordinators and Client Accounting StaffCoordinate efforts of project team to complete work within project deadlinesProvide solutions to routine/complex problemsDirect reports may include Transition Finance CoordinatorsEducation/Experience/Training:
College degree in Finance or Accounting preferredWork Experience:
Requires five to seven years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experienceSpecialized Knowledge/Skills – Strong knowledge of Yardi software preferred; Strong MS Office Proficiency; Financial reporting for multiple entities preferred; Strong customer service, time management, and organizational skills; Exceptional delegation skills with the ability to be a hands-on contributor and take initiative; Ability to train, mentor and coach others effectively; Results oriented with strong sense of urgencyCompetencies:

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
