Summary : Vighter LLCis looking for a Transition Manager provides senior management expertise and oversight for the U.S. CBP, U.S. Border Patrol Border Medical Units and medical services contract. The Transition Manager is also responsible for ensuring successful completion of administrative and program management tasks outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW). The Transition Manager is responsible for overseeing the smooth transition of projects, services, or processes from one phase to another within an organization. This role involves managing the transition of services, technology, systems, or personnel during mergers, acquisitions, outsourcing, IT implementations, or any other type of organizational change. The Transition Manager works closely with stakeholders to ensure that transitions are executed efficiently, within budget, and with minimal disruption. The Transition Manager may be required to be onsite at the request of the Government. The Transition Manager is responsible for meeting with uniformed CBP leadership to determine medical unit requirements. The Transition Manager is responsible for executing the transition plan on time and within budget. Principle Accountabilities: + Develop and implement transition strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize efficiency and minimize costs. + Responsible for coordination and execution of new contract transition plan + Coordinates with National Program Director to create schedules, coordinates itineraries, and directs transition teams working in multiple locations. + Develop and execute detailed transition plans for projects or services being transferred. + Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to understand the transition's scope, objectives, and expected outcomes. + Identify potential risks or challenges and develop mitigation strategies. + Act as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders involved in the transition. + Engage with internal teams, customers, vendors, and third-party providers to ensure alignment throughout the process. + Provide regular updates to senior management on transition progress and any issues. + Establish and implement best practices for managing transitions, including project management methodologies, tools, and documentation. + Assess and improve existing processes to ensure more efficient future transitions. + Coordinate and allocate resources (personnel, equipment, etc.) required for the transition process. + Manage timelines and deadlines to ensure resources are available when needed. + Identify and proactively address any issues or risks that may arise during the transition process. + Develop and implement contingency plans to mitigate disruptions. + Resolve conflicts or issues between teams and stakeholders as necessary. + Oversee the training and onboarding of relevant personnel involved in the new processes or services post-transition. + Ensure that knowledge transfer is complete, and employees are adequately equipped to manage the new systems or processes. + Monitor the effectiveness of the transition process and report on performance metrics (cost, time, quality, etc.). + Conduct post-transition reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement. + Collect feedback and continuously refine transition strategies to improve future transitions. + Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to incorporate new techniques into the transition process. + A deep sense of purpose and dedication to the United States and our U.S. Military Veterans, their Families, and other patients as assigned. + An unshakeable adherence to quality and continuous process improvement. + An apolitical, patient-centered focus that drives to enhanced care and patient satisfaction. + Other duties as assigned. Knowledge and Skills : + Must have exceptional customer service skills. + Employees shall be technically proficient in the skills necessary to fulfill the job requirements, including ability to speak, understand, read and write English fluently. Education : + Associate’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Qualifications: + Minimum of 3 years of experience in Operations, Business Administration, or a related field. Bachelor’s degree is required, Masters degree is preferred. Lean Six Sigma credential recognized by the American Society for Quality (ASQ) highly preferred. Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) is preferred. + Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. + Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making. + Detail-oriented, highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. + Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure. Duty Hours / On-call Requirements: + Generally speaking, the corporate office is open 8 a.m.-5 p.m.; however, during times of rapid mobilization, hours may be extended to include nights and weekends. + We try our best to accommodate your schedule, so please inform Vighter of your desired schedule and/or geographic limitations in advance.
