Translation Imaging Lead (all genders)
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive strategic guidance for biomarker imaging across oncology programs, supporting drug development from preclinical to registration phases.Collaborate with preclinical and clinical teams to integrate advanced imaging strategies and techniques.Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and facilitate acceptance of new imaging biomarker programs.Work with Research and Radiology to implement innovative imaging strategies.
Key Tasks:
Advise on imaging biomarkers and techniques for clinical trials in collaboration with Radiology and external imaging CROs.May participate in Program Teams, providing oncology expertise for imaging strategies.Oversee preclinical imaging in oncology drug development and lead the global oncology Radiomics approach.Coordinate imaging delivery aligned with drug R&D, ensuring regulatory compliance and developing tools for measuring drug effectiveness.Beyond Portfolio Responsibilities:
Identify collaboration opportunities and maintain relationships with internal and external partners to enhance imaging excellence.Foster a culture of innovation and accountability within teams, supporting Bayer’s leadership standards.
WHO YOU ARE
Scientific degree (ideally PhD or MD) with several years of relevant industry experienceProven experience in oncology applications, particularly with radiological and PET/SPECT imaging.Strong understanding of imaging in clinical development and regulatory frameworks for biomarkers.Established scientific reputation with publications and conference presentations, strong network in imaging and oncology.Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written.
