What You’ll Do
As the Transload Operator, you will load and offload railcars of AN products into tankers tanks, or trucks. You will complete safe and efficient operation of equipment for the purposed of loading and trans-loading of products (ammonium nitrate prills and or hot AN solution). Other duties will include:
Take measures to minimize product spillage Ensure that all safety barriers are properly placed, and hazard zones are respected. Maintain proper housekeeping at and around the site. Report spills to manager and regulatory advisor Monitor and document product consistency, quality, and purity. Move loaded empty railcars. May operate a track mobile and or capstan winches to move railcars. Responsible for the inspection of railcars and will make impromptu repairs to railcars. Responsible for the inspection and care of loading equipment. Checks and maintains lubrication bucket elevator, and other operating equipment. Work Order Entry (repair/maintenance) coordinate with Maintenance Manager and Mechanics Proper and compliant filing of paperwork for products and materials consumed and goods shipped.
What We’re Looking For:
High school graduate or equivalent preferred Ability to read and comprehend technical data; must have aptitude for mechanical principles and math. Ability to organize and prioritize while remaining flexible to perform multiple tasks simultaneously. Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player
