Transmission Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a Transmission Designer to work collaboratively with our Transmission Line Engineers in various phases of project planning, proposal preparation, site evaluations, analytical designs, report writing, specification drafting, and preparation of construction documentation and transmission plans. In this position, you will also support and lead the design of various transmission projects, including greenfield transmission lines, transmission line upgrades, and transmission line relocations and reterminations. You will effectively work in a team environment to develop 3D transmission line models in PLS-CADD, as well as assist with ad hoc projects and assignments as assigned by Project Managers and Project Leads. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining all revisions of project drawings, plot files, and project-related information in an organized and well-structured manner.

This position is fully office-based and offers a flexible work schedule with every other Friday off starting in July, commonly referred to as a 9/80 work schedule.
